What we do —
and how we deliver it

Every service is scoped precisely, executed to engineering standards, and delivered in a form that counsel can use directly — without technical translation.

01

Extraction

Electronic Evidence Extraction & Preservation

Digital evidence is fragile. Its value to a matter depends entirely on the integrity of the process used to retrieve it. Structured retrieval is applied to evidence from devices, systems, cloud environments, and data sources — using documented, repeatable methodology that preserves the original state of the source material throughout.

Chain of custody begins at first contact and is maintained through every step of extraction, processing, and delivery. Nothing is handled informally. Every action is logged, timestamped, and attributable — because the moment evidence is challenged, the methodology is what stands or falls.

You receive Extracted evidence with full chain of custody documentation, source integrity verification, and a written extraction report detailing methodology and findings.

02

Analysis

Forensic Data Analysis & Pattern Recognition

Raw digital evidence rarely tells a story on its own. Engineering-grade analytical methodology is applied to complex datasets, communications records, transaction logs, and digital activity — identifying patterns, anomalies, sequences, and relationships that are material to the matter at hand.

Findings are structured for counsel's direct use. That means no technical noise, no ambiguous conclusions, and no requirement for a separate technical translator between the analyst and the courtroom. What is relevant is identified clearly; what is not relevant is set aside with equal discipline.

You receive A structured analytical report presenting findings, identified patterns, and their evidential significance — written for legal use, with supporting data annexes as required.

03

Preparation

Litigation-Ready Evidence Preparation

Electronic evidence that cannot be placed before the court without friction is evidence that has not been properly prepared. Complete preparation of electronic evidence packages for discovery, hearings, and trial is provided — formatted to meet court requirements, organised for counsel's workflow, and structured to withstand scrutiny from opposing counsel.

This includes format compliance, metadata preservation, exhibit labelling, and production packaging suited to the specific proceeding. The deliverable is not a data dump — it is a court-ready evidence package that counsel can open and use immediately.

You receive A complete, court-ready evidence package formatted for the specific proceeding, with exhibit index, metadata records, and production documentation.

04

Reporting

Expert Documentation & Reporting

A technical finding is only as useful as the clarity with which it can be communicated. Structured reporting on methodology, findings, and conclusions is provided — written to be understood by the court, not just the technologist. Every report is precise, internally consistent, and drafted with cross-examination in mind.

Reports are defensible under scrutiny. Methodology is disclosed fully. Conclusions do not exceed what the evidence supports. Where a finding is ambiguous or inconclusive, that is stated clearly — because an honest report that acknowledges limits is more valuable to counsel than an overreaching one that collapses under questioning.

You receive A formal expert report covering scope, methodology, findings, and conclusions — with full disclosure of process and ready for filing or disclosure as required.

05

Recovery

Data Recovery & Digital Record Reconstruction

Deleted, corrupted, or migrated digital records are among the most consequential categories of electronic evidence — and among the most technically demanding to handle correctly. Recovery and reconstruction of digital records is undertaken with the same methodological rigour applied to all other evidence work.

This service is particularly relevant in matters involving system transitions, data disputes, records destruction allegations, or corporate reorganisations where the continuity of digital records is itself a material question. The engineering background in data migration and system architecture directly informs this work — these are not generic recovery attempts, but structured forensic reconstructions.

You receive Recovered or reconstructed records with full documentation of recovery methodology, source provenance, and the extent and limits of what was retrievable.

How I work

Every engagement begins with a precise scope of work agreed with counsel. Evidence is handled under documented chain of custody from first contact, and all findings are delivered in formats suited to direct use in litigation — without requiring translation by a technical intermediary. Methodology is fully documented and available for disclosure.
